We seek ways to open our buildings and extend our programs and services to all residents of our community regardless of spiritual belief or religious affiliation. Listed below are some of our many programs and activities.

Food Pantry and Community Assistance

Located in our vestry, our food pantry is available to help those in need
in the Dunbarton community upon request.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our knitters meet once a month, producing dozens of shawls
that are distributed to people in need of comfort
in the wider community, including the Concord Hospital.

Beyond the Book

This popular DCC group reads one book a month throughout the year
and gathers for an interesting discussion on each.
All Are Welcome!

Ladies Game Night

A night out and fun gathering once a month for ladies interested in an evening of food and games!

Food for Thought Dinners

These pot luck suppers offer good food and fellowship followed by a program or presentation of interest to our guests.

Roadside Cleanup

Volunteers have been gathering at the vestry four times a year for over 25 years
to walk a two mile stretch along Rt. 13 and pick up trash.
Volunteers are welcome! 
Clean and scenic sponsor a highway sign
Fall Visiting Nurses Association Flu Shots
Our church coordinates with the VNA to set up a clinic for flu shots
in our vestry usually in early November each year.
Vestry Rental
The Vestry Meeting room & Kitchen on the lower level is handicap
accessible (except the bathroom) and available for community use.
 
The Vestry meeting room upstairs is not handicap accessible,
but is equipped with meeting table and flat screen TV.
Holiday Food Baskets

Every year we collect food from members and friends to fill Easter and Thanksgiving food baskets to support Dunbarton families in need of assistance. Families that sign up to participate pick up their basket at the vestry by appointment. On average, 10 – 20 families are assisted each year.”

Operation Secret Elf

A DCC mission program coordinated with community members and supported by our church and the community offers gifts to local families and their children who need some assistance during the holidays.

Spireside Coffeehouse & Open Mic   

Held in our vestry once a month, Spireside has been a wide reaching, popular venue of local music, story and poetry for years. However it is currently on hold due to Covid concerns. Click here, though, to learn more and also check out our Newsletter or Facebook for updates!
