Operation Secret Elf is one of our mission programs that offers gifts to local families and their children who need some assistance during the holidays.

The Secret Elf program is a grass roots effort that the church began in 1995 to help families in the town of Dunbarton during the holidays during this often financially challenging time of the year. The program is now run by a team of good Samaritans from the town with support from the church. Assistance is given to families that choose to participate in the form of a gift or gifts for their child or children. As with the holiday Food Baskets, families pick up their gifts by appointment. On average, 12 families are assisted each year with 30 gifts distributed to children. Strict confidentiality is maintained.
